AAFSW’s Annual Art and BookFair Dates Announced

We’re pleased to announce the 2023 Art and BookFair (ABF) will be held from October 26-November 6! 

The fair will once again take place in the new National Museum of American Diplomacy, located on the lower level of the remodeled 21st St entrance to the Department of State.

Our Art and BookFair will be open to employees and their guests daily from 11am-3pm, and also open to the public two weekends — October 28, 29 and November 4, 5 again 11am-3pm.

With the sole exception of the pandemic (2020, 2021), our annual Art and BookFair has been held at the Department of State each fall, since 1961. Employees, family members and even the public can browse through donated popular and classic books, rare books and foreign language collections, stamps, coins, and jewelry, art, crafts, and artifacts from around the world. We constantly hear from both members and non-members, how much they look forward to the annual Fair. The money raised goes towards scholarships and programs.
