Working in the BookStore
This could be anything from shelving, working the cash register, or boxing up books
Helping in the BookRoom
Sort and price out books available in the BookRoom
Volunteering in the Art Corner
Work with other volunteers in the Art Corner by cleaning items, completing small repairs, pricing items, boxing things up, using your knowledge to help identify the country of origin for donated items, research things online
All of these jobs include working with friendly, non-judgmental AAFSW members: make new friends and rekindle old friendships while helping out our community!

PILOT PROGRAM FOR ART AND BOOKFAIR VOLUNTEERS!
Have you volunteered yet? The Art and BookFair (ABF) is our one big fundraiser of the year. Without these funds, we would not have sufficient funds to fully fund our scholarships and many programs. We depend on YOU to help us.
Understanding it can be a little pricey to come into town, AAFSW has a pilot program to show that we appreciate you. From now through Art and BookFair, you give us a day of volunteering in the Dept. for ABF and we will give you up to $15 towards your transportation (not valid if you are given a ride or can park in the Dept). This is for new and regular volunteers. Using public transportation is encouraged as more of your cost is covered. Please note this is for a full day of volunteering.
