Tunisian Cultural Evening

AAFSW cordially invites you to a fascinating presentation about the unique culture and heritage of Tunisia.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ambassador’s Residence, located in Washington, DC. The address will be provided when guests RSVP.

Tunisia is located at the northern tip of Africa and only 140 kilometers from Europe, at the heart of a major intersection of Europe and North Africa.

Tunisia is a nation characterized by exceptional tolerance and hospitality influenced by diverse neighboring civilizations over the centuries, including the Phoenician, Roman, Berber, Byzantine, Arab, Turkish, and French, which have all shaped the culture and character of Tunisians.

Tunisia is a country that stands out for its quality of life and its people’s openness and “Joie de vivre.” It provides the essential amenities to ensure an ideal lifestyle, a rich cultural, artistic, historical, and archaeological heritage, increasingly modern business and residential areas, foreign schools (French, American, Canadian, Russian, English, and Italian), tourism infrastructure, various and developed recreation and sports facilities, highly advanced medical care in terms of medical expertise, and world class health infrastructure.

RSVP no later than Thursday, October 26 to office@aafsw.org and send a check to AAFSW for $10.00 to AAFSW Reservations, 4001 North Ninth Street, Suite 214, Arlington, Virginia 22203.

The program will begin with welcome remarks by H.E. Ambassador Fayçal Gouia followed by a Q & A session, Tunisian videos, and Tunisian music. Guests will enjoy a buffet of delicious Tunisian food.
