The Senior Living Foundation’s 7th Planning for Change Seminar
The Senior Living Foundation of the American Foreign Service will host its 7th Planning for Change Seminar on September 15, 2016. This half day event is designed to offer attendees the opportunity to learn about the steps necessary and services available to help them plan for the future. This year, the agenda includes discussions on:
Prescription drugs – Dr. Steve Miller, Chief Medical Officer of Express Scripts, will discuss the current innovations and future possibilities in the field prescription medications.
Bureau of Medical Services – Dr. Charles Rosenfarb, Medical Director of the Bureau of Medical Services at the State Department, will discuss recent changes at MED.
Annuities – Jeffrey Mounts, Managing Director for Global Compensation, will discuss changes in retirement benefits and procedures.
Wills and Trusts – Learn about organizing your accounts and paperwork from an area attorney.
Hospital stays and next steps – A panel will discuss how to manage the increasingly complicated hospital environment, how to plan for your continued care once you are discharged, and how SLF handles cases.
