Self-Care Workshop for Stress Management on Feb. 28

Stress is part of everyone’s life, but by using stress management strategies, you can feel calmer and more at ease. This workshop will teach you simple and effective tools and techniques you can use every day to improve your well-being. Topics include breathing techniques for immediate calm, meditation made easy, what to do instead of “stress eating,” and safe and effective herbal support.

Your co-presenters are Patricia Linderman, a certified health coach and personal trainer, and Irene Lobstein, who has a master’s in herbal medicine. The workshop is free with a $5 suggested donation for materials. It will take place in the Community Room of AAFSW’s building, Randolph Towers, from 1-2:30 p.m.

This is the second in a new series of AAFSW workshops to promote health and well-being in the Foreign Service community. The January workshop, “New Year, New Habits,” was very popular and well-received. Stay tuned for announcements of future workshops!

RSVP to office@aafsw.org or 703-820-5420. Hope to see you there!
