“O Mistress Mine” is a song from “Twelfth Night,” a Shakespeare play about mistaken identities. This lively, witty and charming evening of entertainment is based on a one-woman stage-show that playwright and actress Robin Phillips created nearly two years ago.

This beautifully-researched video offers a fresh and engaging exploration of the mystery of the true authorship of the Shakespeare Canon. It is presented as a case of mistaken identities, which is at the center of a four-hundred-year-old mystery. Prepare to be surprised and entertained.

As part of this fascinating detective story, Robin explores the lives of two Englishmen: Will Shakespeare of Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford – Only one can be the true author of the Shakespeare Canon.

“O MISTRESS MINE: The Secrets, Lies, Loves & Wives of Edward de Vere.”

Rarely has the Elizabethan era and the Shakespeare authorship issue been presented in such a delightful, fascinating and fun way. It’s like watching a private World Premiere of a made-for-TV presentation. Robin will introduce the video in full Elizabethan costume. The film is viewed in two parts: Act I and Act II, separated by a fifteen-minute intermission. After the screening, Robin will answer questions in what promises to be a lively Q&A session.
