March Wellness Workshop: Cultivating Self-Compassion

When you listen to your own thoughts, what do you hear? Do you speak to yourself as a supportive friend would — or is your internal voice more like a hypercritical parent, or even a playground bully?

Negative self-talk can reduce our ability to experience joy in everyday life — and even hold us back from achieving our goals.

But there’s good news — the latest research on self-compassion (which is different from self-esteem) shows us ways to overcome excessive self-criticism, break through internal barriers and limiting beliefs, feel less stress and more joy, and ultimately become more like the person we truly want to be.

Don’t miss this powerful workshop, led by certified health coach and AAFSW volunteer Patricia Linderman. Find out more about her work at www.fierceafter45.com.
