Jennifer Dinoia

Jennifer Dinoia joined the AAFSW Board for a second term in June 2023, having previously served as First VP from 2011-2013.  Jen has been a Foreign Service family member since her husband, Peter, joined the FS in 1998.  Jen, Pete, and their three children have enjoyed postings in Venezuela, Iceland, Nicaragua, Turkey, and now Germany, as well as domestic postings in Virginia and California.  Jen has also done three separate stints as an Unaccompanied Tour (UT) spouse, with the most recent UT ending in the summer of 2021.  

Jen is the newly-appointed Community Liaison Office (CLO) Coordinator  for the US Embassy in Berlin, and the  Consulates in Hamburg and Leipzig. Her passion is Human Resources, and prior to her work in Berlin, she was the Human Resources Assistant in Ankara.  She also has prior experience as a CLO Coordinator in both Nicaragua and Venezuela, as well as other positions inside and outside of overseas Missions. Jen’s volunteer work, in addition to the AAFSW Board, includes current (and past) board memberships for the Foreign Service Youth Foundation (FSYF). She is also currently an editor for Talesmag. Jen enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and at the moment, exploring Berlin and the surrounding areas.
