February Wellness Workshop: The Nutrients You Need and How to Get Them

Food is abundant in our society — but most people are still deficient in some very important nutrients, including vitamin D, fiber, magnesium, potassium, and omega-3 fatty acids.
These can affect our bones, muscles, skin, digestion, and even brain health.

Unfortunately, recent studies show that supplements are not the easy answer they appear to be — it’s much more effective to consume these nutrients in their natural forms. But how can we do that in a way that isn’t too complicated and fits our unique tastes and lifestyle?

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to get the nutrients you need to feel and perform your best, in easy and enjoyable ways.

A delicious snack plate including all of the nutrients discussed in the workshop will also be included.

Your workshop leader is certified health coach and AAFSW volunteer Patricia Linderman. Find out more about her work at www.fierceafter45.com.
