Please join the AAFSW community to celebrate Paris 2024, Sports and Diplomacy for a Better World with welcome remarks by U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for Professional and Cultural Affairs Nicole Elkon and the support of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC).
The event takes place Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. EST at the Dean Acheson Auditorium at the State Department in Washington, D.C.
AAFSW, in collaboration with H.E Samuel Ducroquet, French Ambassador for Sport (remote from Paris), and the French Embassy, cordially invites you to a unique Cultural Program to honor the 2024 Games of the XXXIII Olympiad.
The program will include introductory remarks by French Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Aurélie Bonal and a panel discussion including Samuel Ducroquet, French Ambassador for Sport (remote), Lindsay Krasnoff, Adjunct Instructor at the Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport at NYU, and Travis Murphy, CEO of Jet Global International.
There will also be an opportunity to view “Champions,” a special photographic exhibit of portraits of athletes who are committed to social issues, through which they redefine their status as athletes. This exhibit is designed in conjunction with the Paris 2024 Olympics.
