Event Recap: Valentine’s Day Gala 2023

The Associates of the American Foreign Service Worldwide celebrated one of their favorite events on Friday, February 9, 2023, at the Residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Washington, DC: AAFSW’s annual Saint Valentine’s gala dinner with a purpose. Ambassador Magierowski and Mrs. Magierowska hosted their friends, AAFSW’s guests, and members splendidly to celebrate the feast of Saint Valentine in Polish style in their stunning home.

The proceeds of this evening went to support AAFSW’s Crisis Fund and International Network of Hearts at the US-Mexican border in Tijuana, fighting human trafficking because no children should be the victims of human trafficking anywhere, at any time. The program included an exquisite Polish dinner served by one of the best chefs in Washington, DC, Jan Górszczyk-Kęcik, an engaging presentation on “Outstanding Polish Women,” and live music.
