AAFSW Fun For Funds Fundraising Events Committee 2nd Committee Meeting February 21, 2017
On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, the AAFSW Fun For Funds Fundraising Committee members got together to discuss our first successful fundraising event which took place on Friday, February 10 at the University Club of Washington, DC and celebrated Valentine’s Day. This event was totally sold out. At our meeting, we discussed all the high notes and the great feedback we got from all our guests.
During our second AAFSW Fun For Funds Fundraising Events Committee meeting, we exchanged ideas and we initiated the organization of other AAFSW fun events that will take place in March and April this year. As with our first event, the funds raised from these fun events will benefit AAFSW and its causes, especially the AAFSW Family Crisis Fund.
The AAFSW Fun For Funds Fundraising Events Committee welcomes all AAFSW volunteers and all great fundraising ideas offered by AAFSW members. Currently, the committee members include: Sheila, Barbara, Troella, Ceres, Seyoung, Anna, Maciej, Catherine, Cyrille, and Joanna (Chair). It is a great way to sharpen our fundraising skills, have fun, and socialize!
