2020 Valentine’s Celebration with FBS

On Thursday, February 13, the Foreign-Born Spouse Group gathered for a Valentine’s Day potluck luncheon. Sonia Moore graciously provided her home for the activity and some 18 people attended bringing a wonderful variety of foods, many of them representing the Cuisines of the countries they had formerly called home. Guests included people from Korea, Russia, France, Poland, Bulgaria, China, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and the USA. Conversation was warm and friendly and many friendships began or were rekindled.

Alfredo Barela spoke briefly with support from Sonia about the value of membership in the AAFSW. All in all, a most interesting and wonderful gathering.
