As we reflect on Memorial Day, AAFSW remembers those who gave their lives while serving their country, including through diplomacy.
The State Department’s memorial plaques bear the names of 321 diplomats who made the ultimate sacrifice in embassies and crisis zones around the world. Their dedication to fostering peace, protecting U.S. interests, and supporting Americans abroad is a legacy that deserves recognition.
I am pleased to share these articles highlighting their contributions and sacrifices.
