AAFSW Wellness Workshop, Feb. 24

From Cravings to Calm: How to master the moment and do what’s truly right for you

Wednesday, Feb. 24, 10:30 – noon Washington DC time

An AAFSW Wellness Workshop on Zoom

Your planning mind has great intentions: to get things done, exercise, and eat and drink reasonably. But in the moment, you may feel an overwhelming urge to procrastinate, scroll through social media, or have an extra snack or glass of wine. What’s going on, and why is it so hard to resist?

In this workshop, you’ll learn and practice powerful, practical skills that you can use every day to calm these cravings and do more of what you know will serve you in the long run.

Your facilitator, certified health coach Patricia Linderman, has intensively studied this topic from diverse angles, including cognitive behavioral therapy, life coaching, Buddhism and behavior change theory, and she is excited to share her findings with you. Find out more about her work at www.fierceafter45.com.

Contact office@aafsw.org to sign up for this free, 1.5-hour workshop in our AAFSW wellness series (optional donation to the presenter).

Hope to see you there!
